Terrain
For Forza Horizon 6 I was responsible for manual terrain work in multiple areas. I sculpted terrain to establish strong visual compositions, create memorable landmarks, and reinforce the surrounding level design. Particular attention was given to shaping terrain that enhanced roadside gameplay while encouraging players to explore beyond the main routes, creating inviting vistas and interesting natural features.
In addition to terrain sculpting, I manually painted terrain materials to blend car parks, laybs, buildings, and environmental props naturally into the landscape. Through creation of trails, paths, and subtle points of interest, I used the terrain itself to guide exploration, support environmental storytelling, and reward players who ventured off the beaten path.
